PAPA JOHN'S SAY 'I DOUGH' THIS LEAP YEAR

Wednesday 1st February, 2012

Papa John's Pizza appealing for women who are getting down on one knee this leap year to come forward and reveal how they plan to pop the question.

To celebrate 2012 being a leap year, Papa John's wants to hear from brides-to-be who are planning to make full use of the tradition that allows women to propose to their man on 29th February.

In return, the pizza chain, which believes in 'Better Ingredients. Better Pizza', is offering one lucky couple the chance to win their very own Papa John's proposal meal, aiming to prove the theory that the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Blushing brides-to-be simply need to register their details by emailing us and reveal how they plan to propose, to be in with a chance of winning this great prize, including two large pizzas, two sides and a drink.

Eva Mowbray, UK national marketing manager for Papa John's, said: "We're really looking forward to hearing from women who are planning to propose to their other half this leap year.

"To give our hopeful brides a helping hand and make the occasion even more special, we will put together a proposal meal from the menu for both of them to enjoy.

"It will take a lot of courage for the men to say yes so we don't want them doing it on an empty stomach. We just hope it is a yes!"

People who want to take part in the Papa John's leap year appeal and be in with a chance of winning their very own Papa John's proposal meal, should email leapyear@papajohns.co.uk.
