Dream Role for Pizza Fan at Papa John's
Wednesday 5th May An Edinburgh woman is enjoying a slice of success after being named the official pizza tester for Papa John’s Leith store.
Louise
Wallace applied for the position after the store on Leith Walk launched
a search for a volunteer to sample its range of award-winning pizzas
for free over the coming year. The move by the store followed Papa
John’s winning the prestigious ‘Pizza Delivery Chain of the Year Award’
in 2009 for the second year running.

Franchise owner of Papa John’s Leith, John Winton, said: “Here at Papa John’s we are always developing new
ideas for our menu, and so Louise will now be testing our pizzas to ensure we retain our very high standards.
“We’re proud to be the only major UK pizza delivery company to use 100 per cent
fresh dough, and we hope that Louise will be able to taste the difference with a free Papa John’s pizza once a month for a year. In return we will ask her to provide us with feedback on everything from taste to toppings to see
if we deliver on our ‘Better Ingredients. Better Pizza’ promise.”
Louise will be able to choose from
many different pizzas at Papa John’s including the new Raffaele Piccante, which features Italian Style
Sausage, salsiccia piccante, red onions, red peppers and green chilli peppers. Papa John’s prides itself
on using the freshest, finest quality ingredients available and is the world’s third largest pizza
company with over 3400 stores in 29 countries.
