PIZZA STORE OFFERS SLICE OF SALES TO CHILDREN IN NEED

Monday 14th November, 2011

Papa John's pizza will be helping Pudsey Bear raise money this Friday by donating a slice of its sales to the annual Children in Need event.

The pizza store on, famous for its 'Better Ingredients. Better Pizza' ethos will donate 50p for every pizza sold on Friday, 18th November, to the fantastic cause, which aims to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Jack Swaysland, managing director of Papa John's UK, said: "We know that many of our customers will be helping raise money for Children in Need, whether it is by getting involved in fundraising, or, by settling down to watch the programme and making a donation.

"We thought it would be fantastic if Papa John's could get involved in the activity and help raise extra money for the Children in Need appeal. Therefore we have decided for every pizza sold on Friday, 18th November we will donate 50p, on behalf of our customers, with the hope of raising £10,000 for this great cause."

Papa John's will automatically donate 50p from each pizza sold to the charity, requiring no additional effort or money from its customers.
